MIRACLES Dear brethren in Christ, this time we are not writing to give any news of how the mission is going on, but to make you part of several special testimonies that our sisters have told us; In the village of Blace, a 82 years-old woman was suffering for about 20 years, from a problem in her leg, probably caused from a bad blood circulation or rheumatism. During a meeting the Lord spoke to me that I should pray for the disease of this sister. We did it very simply and she was healed the next day. In every meeting, she thanks Jesus for her salvation and the healing of her leg. Actually several months have passed by and she doesn't have any more problems of the kind. In the village of Bratomire,(the one we had real conflicts with the leader of the mosque, but now praise the Lord the situation is completely changed), the women would often come to the meetings simply to receive any material help. We have shown them that it is only the Lord that can help even in these problems and that they should first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and understand that Jesus is the Savior of their souls as well as the healer of their bodies and the provider of their needs. So, recently a woman of the name Leka, almost 80% blind,has had wonderful experiences in this field. Actually one day, because of the cold, she got high fever and awful headache. Reminding of the teachings, she began to pray like this :" Jesus, you know that we are poor and we can afford neither the doctor in the town, nor the medicine, but I know that you can heal me." Immediately, she was healed from the pain and the fever. Some days latter another miracle in her life became true. Her family was living of a monthly pension of 50.000 lire ($ 20), insufficient for their needs, but these last days the social assistance office has doubled the sum (there was no need for her to give away any money to corrupt anyone). These testimonies are an encouragement to all the other women in the meetings and these are not the only miracles the Lord has done. A 9 years-old little girl that was in our meeting with her mother had fallen and had a real awful pain in her leg. Because of it she couldn't go in the children's meeting. At the end of the meeting we prayed for her and the mother told us that the pain went away immediately after. We had the first Lord's supper and there was a woman and her daughter who received the Lord. This sister,a nurse in a nearby village,before she was converted, used to read the bottom of the coffee cups. (This, in fact, is common in Albania). For about two years she always used to have a migraine. Even the medicine didn't have any effect on her. Since she got closer to the Lord, she doesn't have any of these problems. We can say that for the moment she is a very faithful woman to walk about an hour to come to the Sunday meetings. There were even some young people who could tell of strange nightmare experiences. A boy told us that one night he had physical attacks from a strange presence, so that he found some wounds in the morning. These experiences have brought most of these young people closer to the Lord. We thank the Lord for the way is working in Albania, but we also like to ask you to continue to pray for us, because the testimonies we told you are the fruit of your prayers, too.
