Dear brethren and friends,

another year is over. Christmas time is near and all the people are thinking for what kind of presents to buy for their dear ones. We, as God children, don’t forgot there are people, who do not  have the same opportunity. So, we try to do something for the other. We want to thank all of you that, for this Christmas, have collected founds to help the mission in Albania, and those who have sent some money for the children. We are preparing some presents for the children (about 200) who take part in our meetings. Every box contains some toys, some school material, toothpaste, tooth-brush and a scarf.

On Christmas day we have organized a party with the children in Stropcke where we have also invited their parents. We want to create a good opinion of us amongs the village people. There were about 30 parents and about 80 between children and teen-agers on the celebration. For many of the parents it was the first time to ever enter in a church.

In the first week of December Sandro and Ardi took part in the “Leaders' Conference” in Italy, where Sandro was one of relators. On that occasion they met an Albanian boy from the village of Blace, whom we know very well. In fact, when he was in Albania, he was the leader of the mosque in his village and he had created us a lot of problems. We heard about his conversion  in Italy and it was almost unbelievable for us. However, the Lord gave to us the possibility to meet him and to hear from his own lips, and from his pastor, that he was baptised too.

Maurizio and Beril Mechilli,  and some other brethren in Puglia, gave Sandro and Ardi a warm hospitality and also gave them the opportunity to share the Word of God with the churches in Foggia, Modugno and Martina.

With the winter, there also start the difficulties even for the usual daily things in Albania, such as shortage of electricity, the terrible cold, snow and ice that make the bad roads even more dangerous. And of course the instability of telephone lines, which is also why we could not send this e-mail on time. This country needs a lot of prayers and help from all of us, in order to come out from the difficulties and its people to have a better life.  

We would invite you to pray for:

·    the building licence for the mini-center in Stropcka

·    the spiritual growth and unity for the co-workers

·   the precarious situation in the country

·    the health and protection for missionaries and co-workers
