Dear brethren and friends,

after this hot summer time, we want to give you some fresh news about the last events.

The most beautiful news is Ardi & Linda’s wedding. We thank the Lord for this wonderful couple who faithfully serves the Lord and for the privilege that we have had to celebrate the first wedding as Apostolic Church in Albania. All the church members have worked hardly to prepare the celebration and a bouffet for all invited. All took place in the Nehemia church, because their place is big enough to receive all participants. Relatives, friends and brethren in faith came to honour this couple. There were around 150 altogether. It was a splendid wedding, despite some problems during the service (a sister is fainted) and we have had the possibility to proclaim the wonderful Love of the Lord and to bless this new family. The party ended with a supper in the restaurant gladdened to traditional dance.

During the summer time in the village of Leshnica we had the meetings in a classroom of the village elementary school. This was offered by the principal, but now, the school has begun again and we don’t have a place for the meetings. In fact the teacher who had opened his house in the beginning, has become estranged to us.

In Cerrave we had the first women’s meeting. This is an answer to our and your prayers, but we want to continue to pray to have a monthly meeting.

In the other villages all goes on well as before.

Since October we will have a new co-worker, Saviola, who will help Luciana and Jeta in the children’s, girls’, and women’s meetings. We are thinking of separating the young people meetings into boys and girls.

In the first week of October we have some important commitment;

The evangelical Alliance’s General Assembly (in Pogradec). There will be new leaders elected this time.
The second Apostolic mini-conference. For two days we will meet all the co-workers and the most faithful believers to pray, to speak about the apostolic vision, service, evangelisation and to organise the work in the villages and in Pogradec.

As far as the papers for the ground in Stropcke are concerned, we will have to wait again because this month there will be new political elections in the country and almost all burocratic work is stopped.

We want to thank once more all the churches and the brethren who made it possible to have a ground where we can build the first church on for our Albanian brethren. Of course other offers will be needed to construct the building, but the most important thing are your prayers to destroy the discouragements of the devil.

As far as the warehouse in Stropcke is concerned- the one that we wanted to purchase with the foundation "Le coup de cour"- unfortunately there are other problems. There seem to be more owners of the same propriety. Thus makes us think that it will be difficult for the owners to find a common agreement, before they decide to sell it.

We would need your prayers for:

• The village in Leshnice and the teacher who is become estranged,
• The women’s meeting in Cerrave and in the other villages,
• The distraction during the meetings,
• The papers needed for the project of the church in Stropcke,
• Health and protection for the missionaries and co-workers

"But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth" (and to pray for us too)
