Dear brethren, We are came back from Italy, when we have had a time of holiday, and we are glad to give you the last news about the mission in Albania. Thanks the Lord that now during our absence in the missionary field, we do not need to worry because the work is growing through our co-workers` zeal. Ardi, Linda, Sokol, Rudi and Nardi , in turns, have been preaching and directing the meetings in the villages and in Pogradec. What makes us even happier is the news that, during our absence they have started again the children's meeting in Blace. If you remember, two years ago we had children's meeting in this village when, sometimes there were about 200 children but, because of the pressure of the mosque responsible on the children and on their families, none of them was coming to the meetings any more. During these last two years we have always prayed, and we were sure that the Lord would answer us soon. We are sorry to inform you about the hard time we are having in Bratomire. The proprietor of the house where we had the women's meetings has prohibited us, strongly, to continue to have the meeting in his house and, until now, we don't know the real motive. Since some months, because of the coming winter, we were thinking to find a house for rent with two rooms that can give us the possibility to have the children's meeting inside. We would ask you to pray the Lord for this situation and that He can open a new door that will give us the opportunity to have the meetings. In occasion of the school starting, with the offer we had received form some Naple, Milano and Torino brethren, destinated to the Albanian children, we have bought school material that we are delivering in the different villages in this days. We want to thank all the brethren who had contributed, especially some teachers from a school in Torino that, since some years, have in the heart to help the poorer children. In this days there will be some important meetings who regard us as Apostolic Church in Albania: the first one is the Nehemia´s Executive Meeting, in which Sandro takes part; and the second one is the VUSH General Assembly (Albanian Evangelic Alliance) They will vote in this meeting to accept us as a member of this organization. In these last two weeks, Albania is having a hard crisis from the abundant rain. It's true that all Europe is having this kind of problem, but in this nation the civil protection isn't efficient, and, as it had happened during the time of Kosovo´s refugees, the greatest help is coming from relief organizations (Prevalently Christian). They give their logistic, practical and financial support. Most of the Albanian people, who live working the land, have seen the work of a year going up in smoke. A lot of harvest, especially vineyards abundant in this prevalently mountainous country, is destroyed. We ask you to pray for these people who have a precarious economic situation. We are waiting for some brethren from Italy who can come for a visit as soon as possible and even our Danish, French and English brethren too, who have promised to visit us. We would like to ask them to contact us to define all details. Our best thanks for all the support, both economic and spiritual, you give from different countries.
