Dear brothers and supporters of the mission,

In our last journey in Italy, we had once again the possibility to visit different districts and many churches from the South to the North of our peninsula. All these visits confirmed once again that the church is being more active in the mission field. This is the reason that makes us glad to sit in front of the computer and write you the news from what we call in all its meaning, the district of Pogradec, consisting of five groups: Pogradec, Stropcke, Çerrave, Blace and Bratomire. In the first three we already have meeting halls but in the other two we still meet in private houses.

All the villages, besides Blace have their children meetings. However we are convinced that the Lord will open a door to restart working with the children. We say, "restart", because, as a matter of fact, we had for a period of time meetings with more than 200 children, until the day when the children for a still unknown reason, did not come anymore.

In April we had our first Church Council meeting when Nardi, Rudi and Sokol were there as well for the first time. They are involved in the work with the children, in worship team and they also preach in the meetings. Sometimes they work in the maintenance of our meeting halls.
Encouraged by the spiritual and numerical growth of the groups (especially where we have our meeting halls there are new people who come to listen the good news, and they are mostly young people), we have established other objectives to reach before the end of this year, besides those already described in the previous letters:

  • weekly worship team rehearsals, in order to grow together in this service and to be able to pass this responsibility to Rudi
  • to better organise children's work and to pass as soon as possible the responsibility to Sokol;
  • to organise youth meetings and open-air evangelisations, under the responsibility of Ardi and Linda
  • Bible studies and seminaries on the apostolic vision, by Sandro and some guests. The first will be Emanuel Enke and Klaus Schiemann on their visit to Albania in May-June;
  • to organise a library to give the possibility to those brothers, who cannot buy a book to read Christian literature. We will buy the books with the money earned from the offerings of the CD on the mission work, which we brought with us to the Easter Conference and other churches we visited there.

On 27/04 together with P.E. P (Pogradec Encouragement Project) there was a day youth meeting for all the missions in the district of Pogradec. It was a beautiful moment of the brotherly love, where all the groups presented songs, dances, mimes etc. In the afternoon there were also different workshops, one of them was for the mime, leaded by Luciana. Seeing the great interest of the young people she will continue in June to prepare a mime team for the open-air meetings organised by Nehemia church for the moment.

On 21/5 we plan to go to Denmark together with Elia and Gloria to take part in a meeting about how to organise the missionary work of the Apostolic church in Europe for the East Europe.

This time we will only take Ester with us, and Carlo will stay in Albania under the dear care of all the Albanian brothers, because he has to go to school.

You see we have different objectives and work to do, PRAISE THE LORD, which will grow little by little the mission here. We ask you to pray for all our co-workers, all the objectives and us.

May the Lord continue to bless us together.
